Your First Visit

Your first visit to the One-Stop should include registering with the New York State Department of Labor so that you can have full access to the job listings.  You can utilize our Resource Room which includes: job listings (both computerized and printed copies), computer and internet access for job search and resume preparation, as well as community resource listings.

For more individualized service, you can meet with one of our Career Specialists.  Please see a staff member in the Resource Room or call (716) 661-9553 to make an appointment.  For your first meeting with a Career Specialist you will need the following:

• Universal Intake
• ES-100
• Proof of legal to work in the US (if you are not a US citizen)
• Driver's license
• Social Security card
• Proof of income (pay stub or unemployment insurance check stub)
• Layoff letter
• Resume (if available)

It would be beneficial for you to print out the Universal Intake and the ES-100 and complete them to the best of your ability prior to your appointment.  If you are unable to print the Universal Intake and ES-100, please come to your appointment fifteen minutes early to allow time to complete this paperwork.
