SSA Beneficiaries Work Incentives EVENT!
Are you a Social Security beneficiary and want to know how working will affect your benefits? Are you afraid of losing benefits or medical coverage if you return to work? Join us for our SSA Beneficiary Work Incentives Workshop EVENT, and learn about these important topics that will help you return to fulfilling work again:
  • Learn how the New York State Disability Employment Initiative (DEI) promotes hiring persons with disabilities including Veterans find employment in the public or private sector!
  • Learn how the Federal Bond Program and Work Opportunity Tax Credit remove barriers and provide cash incentives for businesses who hire SSI or SSDI beneficiaries through the Ticket to Work program!
  • Did you know you can earn up to $46,318 / year, and keep your Medicaid health insurance if you are on the SSI disability program?
  • Did you know, if you receive SSDI benefits, that you can work for up to 12 months with no earning limit, and keep your SSDI cash benefits?
  • Did you know that if you receive either SSI or SSDI disability benefits, that you are entitled to assistance in the return to work, including Job Development services, through the Ticket to Work program?
